There is no denying that we are in a precarious position being out to sea. Historically, what happens when a hurricane is forecast is that there is a rush for plywood and labor to board up windows and secure the most vulnerable properties. You don’t want to be in a position to call someone and pay outrageous prices. The labor pool shrinks and prices rise the closer the storm gets. Every major storm, you hear stories of people who have been taken advantage of.
We have designed a program where we will come and assess your home to determine the necessary supplies required to prepare your home for a storm. In preparation, we will cut plywood to proper size and label it clearly so when we secure your home, it can be done efficiently. This can all be stored on site with screws, tarps, tar paper, nails and other supplies necessary in case a hurricane hits.
Typically, most of the damage that occurs is from roof shingles being blown off leaving the interior of your home exposed to the elements. With this system, we can go right to your home and know that everything is readily available to secure your home until the storm is over.
You can install it yourself or we will give priority to people who have this system set up in their home. We can negotiate a fixed price for the entire system to be installed not if but when it is needed.
